It didn't take me long to figure out the F2 generation Savannah is without a doubt  the ULTIMATE FELINE.   I thought I would attempt to simplify my life and produce only the F2 generation to offer as bottle raised, sweet, intelligent and extraordinary pets.  Although I no longer have f2, f3, and f4 females, I have not taken down the page of some of the past girls I've owned and loved.

F2 & F3 Savannah Queens

How big do f2's get???

I am always being asked how large the f2

savannah's are.  It is not so much their weight

but their size.  This photo might give you an

indication of their size.  This is a 10 month old

f2 female being judged.  She only weighs 10 lbs

here but look how long and tall she is!!!  Males

are even larger as a rule.......

Are they smart, gentle and do they make good pets?

Joykatz Kylee and Joykatz Amee

(Kylee's mom is Kenya and Amee's is Zulah... Karoo is

both their dad's)

This was Kylee and Amee's first walk in their new walking jackets

Gma had made them.  They walked along so perfect, so happy

you could hear them purring as we walked.  This experience

was so incredible for me I talked my Mom into making jackets

so we could offer them to other savannah owners.

See my Cat Walking Jackets page for ordering information.

Joykatz Ivana
F2 Savannah female

Ivana is considered a brown spotted F2 SV although she is very dark with intense black spots on a rust background.  She has great type and a black nose like the serval.

Ivana is out of Zulah and is sired by Karoo

Joykatz Kylee and Joykatz Amee
F2 Savannah females

Kylee is the silver f2 SV girl.  She just blew me away with her beautiful silver color and long elegant body and type.

Kylee is out of Kenya and sired by Karoo.

Amee is the brown f2 SV girl.  In my book, Amee is perfection!  She resembles the f1 savannah so much in color and type.  Amee was named after the little seek and destruct robot on Red Planet, hummm...I wonder why?

Amee is out of Zulah and is sired by Karoo

Joykatz Kya
F2 Savannah female

Kya has such an amazing exotic appearance. Her ears are so large and the ocelli so 'there'.  So much I love about this little girl.  Can't wait for her kitties to take to the show!!

Kya is out of Delenn sired by Karoo

Joykatz Sonyo
F2 Savannah female

Sonyo is from the first litter of f2's I ever produced.  We have both learned a lot from each other.  She always produces some phenomenal kittens and is a very good and loving Mother kitty.

Sonyo is out of Zulah sired by Karoo

Joykatz Smidget
F3 Savannah female

Smidget has to be the most loving kitty ever.  She loves to go to the shows and suck up to the judges showing them how sweet and wonderful the new savannah breed is.

Smidget is out of f2 Gigit and sired by Karoo

I am putting this picture up as an example as to what you will not find here at Joykatz for purchase.  In my experiment to see what is best to breed to my f1 Savannah females I bred one to a male bengal with HUGE ears.  What I got out of the breeding was kittens that to me looked like bad bengals and not savannah's at all.  This is one girl, I kept them as suitable mates for my serval.  Notice she is highly roufoused, glittered, rosetted, has a bengal body and a bengal head!  She does not in the least resemble the f2's I am now producing.  Hopefully this will help you in your quest for the perfect f2 savannah kitten and give you an idea of what breedings to avoid.
